What can the iPhone 5 do that other iPhones can't?
Got iPhone 5 for christmas
Be taller
Well it has LTE!
Facetime without Wi-Fi, lte (4g), turn by turn navigation with voice guidance
and other stuff but thats what I remember
It is always better to keep your iPhone 5. Apple is good at giving free updates that improve your phone functionality. But they are discounting the features on older iphone. Like facetime in iphone 4 can only be in Wi-Fi, it gets no siri, it doesn't get apple flyover map feature.
and even right now i don't see much difference in features, and happily keep using my iphone 4, i know, having the most recent will give you better/ longer updates from apple.
i especially valued my iphone 4 got an update to iMessage, so i don't have to pay to text now. All over the world. Its update like this that you won't see initially, but blow you away.
when i bought my iphone 4 i don't have Photostream, and been thinking on sharing photos to my family, and luckily i got the update and now i can share group specific albums.
and we have not even consider App store support.
don't think on replacing with older model unless you need the money more.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
- Why can my iPhone text other iPhones when my phone is disconnected? Today around 10am my iPhone got disconnected (hadn't paid my bill yet), I went to text my aunt (who doesn't have an iPhone) and the messages wouldn't send, 30 minutes later I texted my friend who does have an iPhone and I could successfully send and receive messages. And as of 9hr later, I was able to text another person with an iPhone. What's up with this? Not complaining or anything, just curious why it's happening.
- Why can I still send texts to other iPhones even though my iPhone has NO sim card? My iPhone stopped recieving calls properly so I've had to put my sim card into a different phone. Why when my mate text me from his iPhone did I receive it still on my iPhone and not the phone with the sim card in. And I was able to text him back from the iPhone but when he called me the little Nokia that I'm using rang… I'll be honest, I really don't understand how iOs stuff works…
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
