Why can I still send texts to other iPhones even though my iPhone has NO sim card?
My iPhone stopped recieving calls properly so I've had to put my sim card into a different phone. Why when my mate text me from his iPhone did I receive it still on my iPhone and not the phone with the sim card in. And I was able to text him back from the iPhone but when he called me the little Nokia that I'm using rang… I'll be honest, I really don't understand how iOs stuff works…
No way, you must have a SIM card on your phone.
Connect your iphoen to your PC. Download latest itunes software. Perform a full backup of your phone and restore it through itunes. Check these links

- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
- Why Iphone 4S won't read T-mobile Sim card even though factory unlocked? I have an iphone 4S and it reads Att sim card no problem, i had the phone factory unlocked and it even said Congratulations your iPhone is unlocked after i restored it in iTunes, but all it says is no service i tried two different T-Mobile sim cards. I even checked my imei number online and it said the phone was factory unlocked. Is there anything i can try, i've never ran across something like this.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.

I got an iPhone from a friend who says that the phone is unlocked, but every sim card I try in it seems not to work, it keeps on coming up with the same message that "There's no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." when have clearly put one in. What can I do?
