What can the iphone 5 or 4s do that the iphone 3gs can't?
I mean like distinct features. And are there some apps or stuff like especially for the 4s or 5? Cause I'm thinking about getting an iphone and well they all look the same to me.except of course no front camera on the 3gs but I can live with that. So what should I get?

The 3GS does not have facetime (for the lack of the front camera) and it has a low resolution screen. The iPhone 4 and newer have a retina HD display screen. The 3GS is much slower than the newer models because of the processor. The 3GS will not have Siri. It is heavier and has lower battery life and has a curved back rather than a flat one. And that's all I can think of right now. If I were to get an iPhone for the first time, the lowest one I would get would be an iPhone 4 because they haven't changed much beyond that besides adding Siri and faster processors and a bigger screen. I definitely would not get the 3GS because it lacks many features such as facetime.

- Can't restore My iPhone 4 from iPhone 3GS backup? Today my girlfriend got an iPhone 4 after her 3GS broke. She brought it home and went to register/set it up. We go to do the restore from back up and nothing happens. We wait for 15+ minutes for it to happen and all it does is make us do it all over again. What is going on and why isn't it working?
- Can you switch SIM cards between iPhone 3GS and another iPhone 3GS? Me and my boyfriend are switching iPhones because mines cracked and he said hell use it till I get a new screen. We have the same kind of iPhone, both 3GS. I was wondering, if we could just simply switch SIM cards. Like me move mine to his phone, and him move his to my phone. And the phones actually work. If we do so, will our numbers automatically switch over? And what about contacts and what not. I'm mainly worried about our numbers.
