This is stupid but I kind of don't understand what he meant.
So this kid I like and I have been texting.
I texted him and told him I just got a blank text from him. (You know when iPhones do that) anywho, his response was "Youre phone was probably like "this kid is out of my owners league, ill help him out lol".
What did he mean by this?
It was obliviously a joke, but it means he's out of your League. My best guy friend does it all the time, playfully says himself is awsome or hot or something.

It was a figure of speech meaning his phone thought that "This kid like my owner(YOU!), but he is out of her league(meaning the boy thinks he is out of you league)" so your phone decided to do something( send you a blank message) to get your attention for the boy. In short words, HE LIKES YOU but thinks he is out of your league. Just respond telling him how you feel.
