What do families do with the loved one's iPhone after they die?

Just wondering. Are they like buried with it or does the family sell it like I'm genuinely concerned who would buy a dead person's iPhone

I think most family members are too saddened by the loss to even think about that, but it will most likely end up in a drawer, or sell it to someone who buys used iphones. I really doubt they would bury it with the person, but hey, you never know.

Well that's up to the family. They could do whatever they want. Hardly likely someone would be buried with their iPhone, unless that was a last request or something. Someone else probably would take it with in the family or they just sell it.

I would sell it or trade it in, no reason to just keep it around.

If you ever buy a used phone, how would you know the owner had died.
