What do I do when I used 65% of my data on my iPhone 4

I have AT&T and I hardly use the 3G just for iMessage which is texting… Does that cost money I have unlimited and it's not Internet? I also sometimes go on twitter but only for a few mins in the car when I'm bored… I clear out the apps when I leave my house by double clicking the home button and the apps I used I will shut off with the red circle with the white line across does that shut them off or do I have to log out of everything so my data won't be used? My mom will be mad if she has to pay extra please help me

It all depends on how much data you have. Your data usage resets every month. So if you use 65% of your data, just wait until your data resets again, which is the end of the month on your data routine. Dial *3282# from your phone and you'll get a text message showing your current data and text usage. You can also check your data usage online by going to this link and logging in: https://www.att.com/...e.iMessage is not part of your text messaging plan, it solely uses data. So even if you have unlimited text messaging, you don't have unlimited data. Closing your apps doesn't do anything to your data usage, only if your apps uses internet without Wi-Fi, then it uses data, such as the game Fun Run. Data is only used if you use iMessage or connect through the internet in some way when you're not using Wi-Fi.

Also, if you don't have unlimited data, I suggest NOT watching videos while using 3G or internet radio. Anything that you do live streaming with, will use up a lot of data. Simple things such as internet pages, twitter, tumblr, instagram, Facebook, will not use up a lot of data. DON'T watch videos, stream music, or anything like that while using 3G.
