What does restore your iphone mean?
Okay so i want to download songs and i want to delete all of it and then get new ones but i don't buy mine. I just download it like everyone else. What would it do if i click "restore iphone"? Would it delete all my pictures and apps/games? I only want to remove my songs and get new ones, please help?
Yes. It would delete all pics, apps, games… Whatever you have on there would go back to manufacturer settings… Do not do it unless you want to lose everything.
Restoring your iphone will delete EVERYTHING you put on it (songs, apps, etc) off your iphone. But if you wanna put your songs back on it, then just redownload them afterwards. But make sure you sync/back up your iphone before you restore it!
Returning to factory settings. You would not lose anything unless and until you have a backup(a hard thing on iPhone).
If you restore your iPhone you're basically putting things back together. To remove your songs you could get an iTunes account & download an uploader so that you can add/replace songs.
- When you sync your iphone to your computer does it copy everything onto your pc? I have broke my iphone to the point where it is un repairable, i only sync my iphone the other day to my pc does this mean everything what was on my iphone was copied and saved to it? Or have i lost everything?
- When you restore your iphone, does it wipe out everything from your itunes? I understand that it will wipe out everything from your physical iphone, but i was wondering if it would wipe out everything on your itunes account to, such as music.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
