What does the iPhone do when you block someone's contacts?
What happens if that person you have blocked on iMessage tries to text you?
All that happens is that when they send texts or call it tells your phone to ignore them (it doesn't tell them you've blocked them) it's good 4 exes lol
The person blocked trying to send a message to you it would just fail the message
They die a slow, agonizing death.
- When you block someone from contacting you on the iPhone? What happens on the other end? Does the person trying to contact you get an instant reply message saying the number has been disconnected or is not in service? Or do they just try to contact you and you don't get the messages or calls so they think you're ignoring them? How does it work when you block a specific number in the settings on the iPhone?
- When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.
- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- What happens if you block someone and they attempt to call or text you? I have a Verizon 4s iphone. I recently got the ios7 update and it comes with an option to block contacts. What happens if I block my ex and he tries to call me? Text also? Will he be notified that I blocked him? Or what happens?
