What exactly is iCloud storage?
I'm running out of space on my iPhone and I was going to buy 200 gb of iCloud storage. If I do this, will I get more storage on my phone for music and everything else?
No. ICloud storage is online storage. You don't get anymore on the phone itself.
It's storage on THEIR server. Anything you put there's an open invitation for anyone to see, copy, hack and steal…

No. Buying more iCloud storage doesn't change the amount you have on your phone at all. It is mainly useful when you have more than one gadget on the same Appld ID, or when the amount of stuff that you need to back up is greater than the free 5 GB that Apple gives you, or when you are using something like Photo Library that lets you keep things in the cloud when you don't need them on the phone. But the amount of space on the phone itself doesn't change, so if it's full, it stays full no matter how much iCloud space you buy.

- What to do about my iphone storage saying I'm using up way more photo storage than I actually am? My storage says I have 132 photos that's using up most of my storage; almost 3 GB. I have only 52 photos and 15 videos in my phone. It seems like it may be using storage from pictures I deleted, but apparently they're still using space? ? Has this happened to anyone else. I've taken my phone to an apple store, and I didn't get any answers.

I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
