What handheld/portable devices picks up clean bass?
When I go to another Bassnectar concert (lots of bass), I would like to use either an iPod Touch 4-gen, an iPhone 4s, or a device under $500 dollars (can be a little over). I do want it to pick up all the other ranges, but be able to pick up bass, cleanly. This is YouTube video demonstrates the type of sound I want the device to pick up: I have already asked the owner of this video, and they did not respond back. Please respond back will a reasonable to perfect answer about the perfect device to get.
I fear you are asking the impossible. The frequency response of the iPhone/iPad microphone is pretty poor at the low-frequency end of the scale, being less than useful below 100Hz, so you need to spend money on a decent microphone and a digital recorder. The problem with the decent microphone, apart from its being expensive, is that it is not going to be very sensitive, so you will either have to be very close or use a clumsy parabolic reflector to collect the sound.
You will then probably have to re-record the sound after passing it through an equaliser to boost the bass end.

- What are some nice speakers with bass? I need to buy some nice speakers with about two-hundred dollars that I can play music from my computer or iPhone. I would prefer them to be loud and have lots of bass, yet still have nice quality. Size doesn't really matter. Something nice for parties. Any ideas would be great.
- Top Portable Trading Devices? I just want to ask your opinion on something. In the future, I'm looking to buy a portable device aside from a laptop such as an iPhone or Galaxy Note so that I can monitor the markets when I'm not at home. When I say markets, I mean the currency markets (Forex). It has to have both wi-fi and 3g/4g (I don't know the difference) capabilities. Please post your opinions of different devices with their pros and cons.
- Speakers with good bass for Iphone input? I'm looking for some good speakers that I can use to plug my iphone into. I love bass so, speakers with good bass would be great! Any suggestions?
- My apple earpods have lost the bass on one side? I accidentally put my apple earpods (newly designed ones that came out with iPhone 5) through the washer/dryer and they're fine, but the only small difference is that the right side has lost about 85%-95% of its bass. Is there something I can do? I'm assuming not, but any advice would be nice.
