What happened to my iphone 5? Completely dead?

I wasn't even on my phone but i went to check it and it wouldnt even turn on. I've plugged it in, toggled the silent button, pressed the home and lock button both. Nothing is working. Any solutions? Or do i need to just go get a new one?

Did it get wet or something?

Once you plug it in to charge it, wait a few minutes and try to turn it on. It should have the red charging battery if it's still too low to operate.

If you're not seeing anything, it's lost.

Have You tried resetting Your phone yet? The same exact thing happened to Me with My iPhone before. Other than the most obvious, which would be taking the phone to the Apple Store, what seemed pretty helpful was pressing down on both the Home button & the Lock button for a few seconds AT THE SAME TIME… If that doesn't work, try charging it first & then repeat the process again… Otherwise, Your best bet is to make a visit to the store… Good Luck!
