What happens if i return an iPhone5 to Apple without the earphones?

Basically my iPhone 5 came with a little scratch on the top so i decided to return it.
They're sending someone from UPS to come and collect it. The only problem is that i can't fit the earphones in the box. So if i sent it without the earphones i assumed they'll take out the earphones of the new iPhone…

BUT. I just found out that I'll be receiving the new iPhone on the same day i give the old one. So what's gonna happen now? Will they charge me for the headphone… Orrr.what? :L

Usually if you are returning something its best to return everything that came in the box, but you could always say that you were assuming they were sending back a new handset only.

but at that i don't fully understand the second part of the question.

One of two things is going to happen

1 - ONLY the iphone will come
no charger, no phones, no extras - you keep yours and only change the phone.

2 - they send the whole phone in a box
and collect your box with phone.
The accessorsies, they will not care if one is missing - it is going back to the factory for checking, cleaning and being made 'as new'. They will be replacing all teh accessories 'as new' as well.

of course you could accept that the iPhone 5 is very easy to scratch and damage, and improve it by properly scracthing teh edge to give it a 'chrome' finish and doing what apple should probably have done!

  • Why won't the sound on my iphone work without earphones? I have an iphone 4s which is fully up to date, all of my sound is fine when my earphones are plugged in however when i have no earphones in i can't play music or hear any sound when on apps and games etc, but my sound works for facetime and when i'm on the phone to someone even on loudspeaker, it sometimes goes quiet though, i have tried everything i can think of to fix it and nothing will work, please help
  • What happens if you buy a iPhone of eBay and it happens to be stolen? I typed in a serial number of an iPhone into apple checker and it said the phone has not been activated? The phone is still sealed in its box is the phone ok to buy?
  • Music won't play on my iPhone without earphones? I have an iPhone 4S with the latest software update and today the music stopped playing through the speakers and will only allow me to use earphones. The volume completely dissappears when the earphones are not plugged in. It was working yesterday. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
