What happens if i turn off private browsing?
Hi! So i have an ipod touch and i was wondering if i turn off private browsing if my mom can see any of my stuff on her iphone or on the laptop. Icloud isn't enabled and i don't know how to tell if my ipod is linked to the computer so can you help me out with that too? Please make sure your answers are readable like if your really smart please don't use huge words cuz i'm sort of stupid lol:/ thank you everyone!
If iCloud is disabled, then she shouldn't see anything. But if you are looking at stuff you shouldn't be, then I would just keep it on. It is really easy to just pick up your iPod and look through your history.
No one can access your history or info from a different device
it just saves all your passwords and history n shares your location on the websites you visit
Private browsing just means when you visit a website it does not tell the website where you came from, in other words it just gives the website the information it really needs - which browser and that your on an iphone. It won't accept things like cookies either - as they can store and read etc.
Private Browsing will make it so she can't see what youve done from your ipod she can still find out from the network wether even if its on but she probably does not know how too
- What is the purpose of private browsing? On my iPhone, I can do private browsing in safari and I'm not sure what that means. Is it for if someone wants to look at naughty pics without other people knowing? Is it so you can't get hacked? I'm just wondering.

My son has an android phone and my daughter has an Iphone. I would like to be able to check in occasionally, just to make sure they are not falling into the wrong crowd or looking up things they shouldn't be. - Safari Private Browsing History not Private? So I've got an iPhone 4 and recently found out that there's actually a way to view the history of your private tab. Is this true? If so, I wanted to know how to delete it.
- Safari private browsing deletes all my tabs? If I open any tabs in private browsing on my iPhone, leave private browsing then come back, all my tabs are deleted! It never used to do this before but just recently this has been happening and it's so annoying. How do I stop this?
