What happens when iOS 7 beta 1 expires?

What will happen to my iphone 5 when the ios 7 beta one expires? I know I would have to go through the same process that I did to get the first one but I have a registered udid. Does this allow me to get the ota update and do I still have to download the firmware on the computer and update it manually? Any help would be much appreciated.

If you're a registered developer you just update to the 2nd beta without hassle, either through itunes or via over the air updates on a wireless network (maybe, not sure if it will be sent out this way). If you're not a registered dev, you'll either have to downgrade back to the previous firmware (6.1.3 i think?) or update to beta 2 the same way you did the first. Having an expired beta firmware on your iphone can render it unusable (bricked!) until you download the appropriate software package for it.

If my relative purchases an iphone 5 for $199 from Verizon( or any other carrier) can I use my own methods (suchs as GPP Sim unlock) to unlock the phone for use of the phone on carriers outside of the US? Or does it mean the phone will have a bad ESN and I can't use it?
  • Updating iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 7 Beta? And i have an iPhone 4 running on Verizon, i'm trying to get the beta for iOS 7 because it looks really cool. I'm not computer ignorant, i just can't seem to find how to do this, my iPhone is not jailbroken or unlocked. I downloaded like 10 different files for ios 7 and they all give me an error saying they are not compatible
