What happens when my upgrade runs out?

I have an iPhone 4, and my 24 month contract runs out in April 2014. What happens with the current iPhone i have now? And what upgrade do i get? Like does it have to be a iPhone?

Your next phone doesn't have to be a iphone, Ask your service provider about possible mobile upgrade. At the end of the contract you get you get to keep your iphone 4.

You get to keep your phone, and your contract will continue on a month by month basis or be cancelled. You do not need to get another iPhone, should you decide to "upgrade" also known as renewing your contract, and you can get another phone!
