What happens when you delete iCloud?

I don't use iCloud, and nothing is backed up on so it is essentially a blank account. So I was wondering what would happen if I delete the account on my iPhone through settings, will I gain more storage and will the "other" usage me minimized?

If there's nothing on your iCloud and you still format it nothing will happen
Its like formatting a blank portable drive.
Nope it will stil be 5 G. B in order to gain more space you need to buy

  • What happens when you delete a bbm contact? I have bbm on the iPhone and so do they, I deleted someone last night after an argument. Just wondering will the chat still be on their phone or will that also go as I don't want them to be able to get my pin again? I'm new to bbm so I'm not too sure x

Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)

Recently, I just found out that my dad and I shared the same iCloud account on my phone and I really want to have my own privacy so if I delete my iCloud account, would that also delete the photos, apps, etc that was already stored on iCloud from my phone?
  • What happens to the data in my app when I delete it from iCloud? I have an app on my iphone 5 that I want to keep on my device and still play but it saves to iCloud. I know how to delete it from iCloud but will the app data just start saving on my device NOT iCloud? Will I still have All my data on my game?
