What happens when you restore an iphone without a backup?
My iTunes is making me restore my phone because it gets all messed up when it gets overcapacity, but it hasn't been letting me back it up to the computer since march. I'm worried if I restore it now I will lose everything, unless I back it up to the last backup in march, which still means I will lose the last 2 months of data I have saved. What will happen if I restore my phone without restoring a backup afterwards, can I still sync my information back to my phone, or will it delete it all and I will have to restart?
It goes back to the way it came from the factory. U lose all data.
Don't try to sync your iPod. See if you can hook it up to your computer as data storage device and drag off the files you want.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- What happens when you restore your IPhone or IPod? I want to take off my jailbreak on my iPod touch and someone told me to restore my ipod with iTunes. I backed up my ipod touch with Icloud to get my things back. After I restore what do I have to do to get my music, settings, and pictures back.
- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- What happens when you backup your iphone? I just went on itunes and backed up my iphone, and it loaded, and finished. Now what? I'm new to this so don't be mean please
