What has Apple gotten themselves into?

So I have 2 things here.

So apple has this new iPhone c line…
So when the iphone 5s came out, the 5c came out with it. When the iPhone 6 comes out, they will probably come out with an iPhone 6c. When the iPhone 6s comes out, what will they call the next "c" phone? The iPhone 6cs? IPhone 7c? IPhone 6c2?

Second thing,
iPad air.
iPad air is the 5th generation iPad. What will they call the next iPad? The iPad air 2? The iPad 6? And will they keep the regular iPad line and cone out with an iPad air 2, a "normal" iPad 5, and an iPad mini 3?

What have they gotten themselves into? Doesn't apple think about future generations before they name things?

The 5C is nothing more than the 5 with the C standing for color, as evidenced by the colors you can choose from; the 5S is an actual hardware upgrade with the same dimensional measurements as has been characteristic ever since the 3GS launched. I highly doubt Apple will release another C option phone again for a variety of reasons.

The naming conventions shouldn't be taken into too much consideration. Perhaps they will call the next iPad the Air 2 and Mini 3; perhaps they'll come up with another naming for them. It honestly doesn't matter what naming conventions they choose since you should only distinguish their mobile devices by which processor they use.

No one knows what they will do other then guessing since none of it is out yet.

The c line may be a 1 and done. Most rumors point to Apple launching 2 iPhone 6 models. One with a 4.7" & another with a 5.5" display. Both should be called iPhone 6.

They may just continue to call it iPad air & let the year be the discerning factor, like their computer lines. There's no MacBook Air 2, 3, etc. Yes they will continue to sell both the 9.7" & 7.9" models.
