I'm having the same problem with my Samsung. The batteries are only good for a certain number of recharges and then it needs to be replaced. A portable power bank will only charge the battery that will quickly discharge anyway. Get a new battery instead.
Get new batteries. Portable power banks can also solve your problem but they don't have the best usability. You have to carry them around. Not to mention you're most likely going to be using the phone while its plugged in to the power bank which makes the phone generate more heat. Definitely get new batteries.
Replace the battery in the phone.
