What is so bad about 00's kids? - 1
All the 90's kid bragging doesn't bother me like it used to. And I'm even okay with 90's claiming they own stuff that came out in the early 2000's. But why do you guys have to act like we 00's kids are a bunch of little Antichrists? My two older brothers were 90's kids and when I was little, showed me EVERYTHING that they had (They were born 90 and 94) so that made me assume until recently that 90's and 00's kids were the same, because I had a lot of the same things they had. But everyone on the internet has proven me otherwise. I hate it when people say, "00's kids cried to their parents to get an iPhone" But, the iPhone came out in 2007, every 00's kid was at least younger than 12. Okay, maybe little kids are spoiled today but a lot of things change in a few years. I know for a fact that when I was little, no one had a cell phone unless they were a teenager. It just seems like people are throwing little kids (Ages 5-10) in the same melting pot as bigger kids (11-15) and branding us all as 00's kids. Then they only notice the flaws in the little kids and assuming the bigger kids are the same. Okay I'm getting off-topic (ADD) on to my question, I only want 90's kids or older answering this:
What is so terrible about the 2000's? What was so terrible that caused everyone to hate anyone born in that time period? Why is it that everyone born after 1995 is automatically forbidden from having a childhood? I can handle all the bragging but not this level of hatred. And please, no arguments. I apologize in advance if I offend anyone (I tend to do that without noticing, and I'm working how I conduct myself) And also sorry if this is the wrong category
People have been complaining about the problems with youth since at least Aristotle. Every generation has losers who fail at life and look back at the next generation and complain because they are different.
I'm a 90s kid. There's anything "wrong" with kids growing up in the 00's, but what most people, including myself, refer to is that 00's were/are ruled by technology. When I was growing up, technology to me was a cordless phone and a Walkman. Lol. I wanted the newest roller blades and the coolest bike on the block. Kids like my very younger brother (born 97') wanted the newest Playstation and smartphone. There was little room for imagination as he got older because the newest tech did the imagining for him. Basically, the 90s were great because, yes there were advancements in technology but the bulk of our days were spent outside with our friends in a fort or clubhouse. Or racing our bikes down the steepest hill. 00's kids grew up faster because of all the information right at their fingertips.
Tehe! Lieek, I wuz borne in 1999 and I remembr everything abut the 90z! I r a totl 90s kid! Tehe!
pfft, I was born in 1986. Unlike you children, I'm old enough to actually remember the '90s, since that was the time I spent almost my entire childhood in, and my early teens. I don't remember a whole lot about the '80s so it baffles me that you get children who were born in the mid '90s think they grew up in the '90s and are an expert on the decade. Anyone who was still in diapers any time in the '90s is a poser. Nostalgia is a weird fad for kids and teenagers to have, but yet here it is.
Here is a hint: Every generation going back to the 50s thought the same thing.
Pffft. If you are not old enough to remember the '60's, how can you even understand life?
The people saying that are older, older kids will always to tease/bully younger ones, it's always going to happen, so don't worry. But the 90s did have great shows that I miss, the shows these days are terrible.
- Why are kids so Spoiled Nowadays What the hell?! I See little children with IPhone's, IPads, Expensive clothes and all these other Technological things. I Grew up in South Korea and all we had were Plushies, dolls and a bit of T. V I Did enjoy all these things:3 more than the things nowadays…
- What is something like a iphone for kids that has games on it? My lil nephew loves to play on my I phone when it comes to games. So I'm trying to get idea what is something like a iPhone that has games on it with out having to play a monthly bill for it.
- Is buying a iPhone with Bad ESN bad? I want to buy an iPhone 4 or 4s but it says bad esn. I'm not going to activate the phone to any provider. I just want it for Wi-Fi for home use. Is it bad to buy it or okay?
- How young is too young for an iPhone, iPad, or iPod for kids to own? I heard Apple was considering making a child friendly iPod, but apparently "iTouch Kids" didn't go over very well. *shrug*
