You get way more customization on the OS and you can get apps for free
It allows you to have full control of your device some things like being able to have unlimited amount of gems in temple run 2 it also can make it so your contacts picture shows up in the text message the issue is that its now illegal due to the law being up and if your using a iphone it has been know to screw up your phones plan.
Pros
You get to change your iPhone a lot. You can tweak it. You can get free app/games. It's easy. If you save your shsh blobs you could downgrade.
Cons
You could brick your iPhone which means it will not work anymore and it will be the same as a brick or paperweight. It slows down your device. It is illegal.
Its also opens it up to viruses if you install outside of the appstore… I would never do it but I guess some just like messing with it.
When you jailbreak an iPod then you automatically download an app called Cydia. Once you have this app you can pretty much download any app for free or seriously discounted. Along with the app you can use themes on your iPod. These themes can be custom or preloaded.
Jailbreaking expand the feature set limited by Apple and its App Store. Jailbreaking also opens the possibility for using software to unofficially unlock carrier-locked iPhones so they can be used with other carriers.
Jailbreak your iphone means you are allowed to install 3rd party applications on iPhone.
There are two point.
One is you get the administration authority to change the operator logo, script and so on.
Second you can download all the apps by free.
