What is the best medium to print pictures onto and why?

I recently went to Hawaii and have a lot if beautiful landscape pictures that I would like to enlarge to an 11 x 14 size. I took all of them on an iphone 5, but have enlarged a picture to this size on regular photo paper to test if it would be distorted and it came out well. What medium would be the best to print them at this size and hang them on the wall? I have considered and looked into getting them printed on aluminum, but I have also seen acrylic and glass done. Don't consider price when you make your suggestions, but please give me a range of how much it would cost.

Canvas is probably best if you're going to print an enlarged pic from an iphone camera.

Aluminium, perspex and glass will not look good with an enlarged pic.

I have had excellent results printing on Aluminium but using a digital SLR camera with a sensor that is over 15 times larger than that found on a mobile

Large prints from a mobile will be of poor quality by nature.

These examples should show you the problems you will face trying to have large prints made from a camera with a tiny sensor

It's solely based on your personal preferences and also on the subject matter. Landscapes usually are best either on glossy or aluminum. Portraits are typically on matte or canvas, but I've seen landscapes on canvas too.
