What is the best UK network for iPhone 5?

I plan on using it for mostly texting, alot of internet browsing (Unlimited data preferred) and buying apps. Don't really use it much for calls. From what I've been told, O2 is usually regarded as the most reliable and best. I've had Orange in the past but I didn't like them at all.
I don't really care for 4g much, because I think 3g is already quite fast enough.

Well Orange/T-mobile have the best coverage over the country so for your internet usage they would probably be the best, whether you like them or not. Vodafone is good, can usually get quite good cheap deals but that's more for tailored plans e.g. You want 200mins, 500text, 500MB, unlimited plans are usually a little more price with them, so as you are unsure of your usage they may not be the best option. If you like o2 I guess go with them, they're also good

O2/Vodafone/Orange all have 2-3GB data allowances

Sorry, Orange iPhone (51/month!) - is unlimited data on iPhone only.

t-mobile/Three have (truely) unlimited data plans - about 36/month

EE (T-mobile/Orange) will have 4G working later this year in 16 cities
and iPhone 5 is 4G capable.

So you decide… T-mo or Three?

  • Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
  • Which network works the best with the iPhone 5? I'm currently with T-Mobile, but switching to a new network soon. Which of these networks works the best with the iPhone 5: AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon? And what makes it better than the others?
  • Which Cell Phone Network is the best for an Iphone? I'm about to get the Iphone 5s and i was wondering which network would go well (as far as affordability, good reception, plans, etc…).
  • What's the difference between off-network and on-network? I'm try to work out which is best for what I want out of the service. I want protection while on my iPhone 5 (both when connected via Wi-Fi and when roaming on 3/4G). Website with product details: http://www.umbrella.com/products/umbrella-security-features/
