What kind of paint can I use to make the back of my iPhone black?

Tape it off with some blue painters tape. Rough up the area that you will be painting with a bit of 400 grit sandpaper, then paint it with Krylon's Fusion spray paint for plastic.

That is not a good idea, buy a black cover.

Use a cover. That way you can change the color when you want to.

I would use a gel skin that comes in black. Paint will scratch off.

Seriously. It's not rocket surgery, just choose a black paint and go after it.

If you want to be able to undo this madness, use spray-on Plasti-Dip and put on three or four coats. It'll hold well enough, provide a grippy surface and be removable.

  • Would 300MB of data be enough for this kind of use? I have an iPhone 5 and I was wondering if I'd need any more than 300MB of data?
