What makes an iphone so expensive?

What makes an iphone so expensive?

The memory of Steve Jobs.
The phones are secondclass.
The quality is overrated.

First thing is quality of software and hardware of iphone and all apple products. Which we can't challange.
Secondly after sale service of apple products. Is your phone is under warranty and needs repair. Apple services will not ask you to wait for few days till they repair the phone. They will exchage your phone with new phone.
Also re sale value of iphone is much better than others and
in India iphone has become status of symbol.
These are the few reasons which makes iphone bit expensive.

They're not made of cheap plastic like 99% of the phones out there: P

HTC is more solid than Apple

Because everyone copies apple

  • Will the iPhone 5 be significantly more expensive than the iPhone 4S? Basically, will the pricing for a new iPhone 5 be the same compared to the current iPhone 4S? Or do you think it will be more than the price of the iPhone 4S now? I'm contemplating just waiting for the iPhone 5 to buy a new phone but if it's going to be significantly more expensive than the iPhone 4S then I don't know if it is worth it.
  • Why is the iPhone 5 more expensive than the iPhone 5C? Well iPhone 5C is newer and had a little improvement (not much of a difference, I know) but why is it less expensive than iPhone 5? They are still selling iPhone 5 here in our country I'm wondering why the price of 5C is lower than 5 even if it has sort of improvement.
  • Why is the iphone 5 (& even the iphone 4) so expensive? I need a new mobile phone as I have a very old nokia. I have been looking at getting an iphone as lots of people at work are saying how good it is. However, I can't believe how pricey it is. I only want a phone for texting and phoning and maybe doing a bit on the internet and a few apps. I may just get the nokia lumia as it seems cheaper and the reviews look good. Has anyone got any advice and also can someone please explain why the iphone is so expensive?
  • Who makes the A6 chips in the iPhone 5? I've heard that Samsung does, but with all of the lawsuits I was confused as to why Samsung would help Apple make a processor for the iPhone 5 that is better (?) than the Galaxy S III's processor.
