What mobile should I get? (Read description)?

I want to get a mobile because in case I get lost and need to call my parents or if I can talk to friends.
I also want a mobile with a camera on it and that you can download apps on it (Snapchat, Soccer games, free apps)
I know theirs the Iphone, but what else is their and what do YOU recommend and why you think I should buy it.

Price range? Cause Samsung galaxy s phones are amazing. They are fast, good big screen, can still fit in your pocket.

The Samsung Galaxy phones are the best on the Market. They do way more then any of the Iphones and they do it better.

The S2, S3 and S4 are all great phones that will do what you need and more. Depending on how good you want the camera to be and how fast you want the processor you can choose from those three. The S4 is the fastest and has the best cameras both front and back.

Most phones have at minimum a back camera and smart phones have a front and back camera.

Iphones or android phones, i would stay away from windows if you want apps and games
i prefer android because of the ability to customise the phone, wallpapers, widgets more free apps etc, that said the iphones are awesome phones

it does depend on your price range, if your loaded get the iphone 5 or galaxy s4,
any of the galaxy's above 2 are still classed as good, xperia s, htc one x, dre beats phone
try to stay away from budget phones like the wildfire i won't bother you with the, they are very slow and don't last long and game son them like angry birds are deadfull, better off getting a second hand phone thats better.

things too look out for are
RAM - 512mb minimum preferably 1gb
CPU - dual core or quad core do not get a single core

the above might not seem important but they are very important if you want to play games aswell.

btw xperia s comes with a 12mp camera,

make sure the phone has ios6 (iphone) or android 4.1 or higher (jellybean)
