What network does the iphone 4s work on?

I'm going to buy an iphone 4s from the apple online website that has a micro sim card and works on gsm networks, i'm buying it fully at 450 so its unlocked and its pay as you go, so i want to know what networks these go on? Do i just go into a phone store and get given a sim card? Or does the micro sim card i get with it get registered with whatever network i want?

Since it is unlocked, it will work on any GSM network in the world. Basically its up to you. I think you read wrong somewhere on Apple.com. You don't get a SIM card when you buy an unlocked iPhone from them. Just the phone. I know this since I ordered 2 unlocked iPhones from them in the last 2 years & as expected got the phone, no SIM.

So you just go to whichever one you want & get a SIM & you are good to go.

  • Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case.   • Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
