What object should I disassemble for a 8th Grade Art Project?
So my teacher gave me the assignment where I have to pick an object.
Then I must disassemble it and draw it. When I mean " disassemble", I don't mean find an object and break it. For example, one student used a lamp as his inspiration and drew broken glass shard and wires and screws.
The idea should be not too hard but not too easy to figure out. Plus it can't be the human body.
Also, I would like it to be something that's common but something that teachers know.
Not like an IPod or IPhone or Computer. Those are way too common.
A box fan might be a good item. They are relatively cheap to purchase & easy to put back together, should you choose to take it back. For inspiration, you might try looking at Walmart, Kmart or stores along those lines for items that come in a box & say "some assembly required". A fishing pole might also work.
Totally be efficient. Pick something that has less pieces. Broken glass is a bad idea I think. How about a flashlight? I recently disassembled my moms pool ladder, it was 6 pieces plus the screws.
- Would the police get involved for an expensive stolen object by a minor? My mom bought me glasses($400). They are "real" and the lenses are made to fit my eye vision. I'm in middle school and a high school boy who has a reputation for stealing things (ipods, iphones etc) stole my glasses while he was hanging out with me. Will the police be willing to get involved in this? I live in California. I really need them back, they're expensive and I can barely see anything during class… Or life
- What should my computer science senior project be? I can create any software you want. It can be an Android or iPhone app, or a web service, or both, or anything! I also have access to six Beaglebone Blacks ( which are just mini-computers that I can stick anywhere.
- What should i ask for for 8th grade graduation? I already have a tablet/ipad, computer, xbox, wii. I want an iphone but i don't know if my parents will get me one. I wanted a trampoline but my mom said absolutely not. So any ideas?
- What object from home could represent the function of the nucleus? We're supposed to bring an object that represents the FUNCTION of the nucleus. I was thinking that I could use my iPhone and explain how it's is a smart phone and how it is the center of my life. If that wouldn't work what would
