What products do I need for dual computer monitors?
I'm going to buy a new macbook pro but at times I like to work with a desktop style comp and so I have two monitors already with hdmi input. Would I just need a hdmi splitter for it to work or would that mirror onto both? I want to have one mirrored amd the other extend the desktop if that makes sense so I can work without my laptop screen.
Putting more than one monitor on a Macbook pro is possible. An HDMI "splitter" makes two images that are exactly the same on two screens, not what you want.
You can buy a "thunderbolt" cable for external monitors at an Apple outlet or on line. That will support an extended desktop or mirrored image of the laptop screen.
Another way is to get MaxiVistA software version that will work with a MacOS and an iPad or iPhone or another computer to give another screen.
Other ways to add a monitor:
USB to HDMI (or DVI or VGA) external video adapter and software version for Mac
Matrox Dual (or Triple) Head2Go box for two (or three) screens from one output cable. Check for Mac version.
- Why are Apple still using dual-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM? Other top of the rnage phones like the S4 are rocking a 1080p 5"+ display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU and yet the iPhone 5 and 5s do not even have a 720p display and are still are dual-core and 1GB of RAM.

- IPhone 5 dual SIM adapter problem? The dual adapter works fine when I have a payg Orange and a payg T-Mobile SIM in place, but whenever I remove either SIM and insert my contract EE SIM, the phone displays 'invalid SIM'. I'm obviously wanting to use my contract EE SIM in conjunction with any of the 2 payg SIMS. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks! Steven I forgot to mention that the EE SIM works on my EE locked phone perfectly well.
