Why are Apple still using dual-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM?

Other top of the rnage phones like the S4 are rocking a 1080p 5"+ display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU and yet the iPhone 5 and 5s do not even have a 720p display and are still are dual-core and 1GB of RAM.

5S is the only 64bit phone existing today. Their hardware outperforms everyone else because of the design, you are way to caught up in specs.

Apples has better system optimization. Its dual-core chipset always has more powerful performance than Android's cord-core chipset.
