What's a good iPhone Wi-Fi speed?
I measured the wireless internet speed on my iPhone 5 running ios 7.1. My average download speed was speed was between 12 and 14 mbps. My average upload speed was between 1.18 and 1.35 mbps. I was wondering if this is good or not. The reason I decided to test the speeds in the first place was because I feel like my Wi-Fi on my phone is not that great. My router is top notch and on all my other devices (laptop, tv) it is blazing fast. I know that both of those devices probably have a stronger Wi-Fi signal detector thingy, but still.
Are you sure that your phone is using Wi-Fi? It sounds more like 4G mobile speeds. My Android phone on T-Mobile data typically gets 13-15 Mbps download and 1.7 Mbps upload. My home Wi-Fi is limited by my DSL speed which typically tests 5.1 Mbps down and 0.65 Mbps up.

- How to speed up my iphone 3GS? My iphone is so slow now i've filled it up nearly with all my music… I googled it and the only thing i found that had nothing to do with jailbreak was doing a hard reset which had made a different but its still slow… Oh and turning off spotlight… So yes any suggestions please? I don't want to do a factory reset and i don't want to loose all my saved app data and icloud won't work on my account for some reason.
