What's the chances of actually being able to get a iPhone on eBay for really cheap?

There are listings where the bidding starts at 99 cents. I just found one where nobody has bid on it yet, but it still has about 23 hours to go. What's the chances of getting an iPhone 5 super cheap like that from an eBay listing? As the time goes down will more people start to bid?

Added (1). If the seller has good reviews then does the chances of them trying to scam people go down? Or can a seller have fake reviews like you can buy followers on instagram?

The chances you really should be looking into is that whether the phone will be real or not, which is why I don't trust Ebay. I got my iPhone 5 for £380.

You should be more worried about scams than finding cheap iPhones. If it sounds too good to be true, then it most likely is.

Edit: it's very easy to fake reviews. A scammer won't be buying fake reviews, they simply "buy" their own products using other accounts and leave good reviews.

Most used phones you find online are Chinese fakes or stolen and blacklisted
Think about it - if someone really had an iPhone for cheap why would they list on Ebay and pay the fees instead of just selling for cash on Craigslist for more money?

About the only way to find out is by trying it.

Roughly the same as winning the lottery.

Without buying a ticket.

Nada. People will start bidding at the last minute - this is to try to get a very low price, but the price will go up very fast. Follow a few listings that are similar (high priced product listed cheaply) and you will get the gist of how ppl bid on them.
