What's the point in 'do not disturb' on the iphone 5?
You're not supposed to get disturbed right? So why in the hell, do the calls still get through?
Notifications>
Do Not Disturb>
Switch off repeated calls
By turning on "do not disturb", all your notifications, messages, calls get silenced.
But if someone calls you twice in less than 3 minutes, the call does go through the second time.
Also, it DOES NOT SILENT the contacts marked as your favourites.
You can find out about it here:
http://support.apple.com/.../kb/HT5463
Only calls repeated within 3 mins are allowed though unless you specify otherwise.
- What does the do not disturb button do on iPhone 4? I put it on bc when I sleep I don't want my parents seeing that I got a text or call but my friend just texted me when I wanted to sleep and i don't know why it's not working bc isn't it not suppose messages to come or calls
- Put iPhone to Do not disturb mode in iOS 6? I'm sure many of you iOS users would be sure about new do not disturb mode in iOS 6. Can anybody please tell me how to put iphone, ipod in do not disturb mode in iOS 6?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is an iPhone 6 old at this point? At what point should I get an upgrade? I know it's more on a phone to phone basis, but it certainly does seem that the older generation iPhones begin to degrade as soon as a new gen comes out.
