What's the point of Kik and Snapchat?
I have Kik but I only use it for my fandom account on Instagram to discuss fandom stuff but I stopped using it a few months ago. I don't have snapchat. I don't know why people use Kik messenger when they can just iMessage because iMessage and Kik are basically the same. And for Snapchat you can send photos on Instagram or iMessage.
People who don't have iphones or ipods or any things that use the app store can't get imessage but on google play store they can get kik and snapchat is awesome coz it only lasts for 10 seconds or less.
Exactly what Rose said. The advantage of Snapchat is you can the photo disappear after a few seconds. Not everyone uses iMessage, it isn't universal on all platforms, just iOS. Kik is the most popular messaging alternative and you don't have to give out your phone number, you can block people and sort of keep things private if you need to.

- What does the letters S, Grey D, Dark D and R, mean in kik? Some people say that it will be Dark D until they open the app. Does the app have to be open or can they just be on there iPhone and still not opened the app for it to be Dark D?
- On KIK messenger if someone is still logged on their app but has the KIK window minimized and I send a message, will it go right to solid D? I have KIK messenger and if I send a message to a particular person with an Iphone who always has their phone on and logged in (but the window closed/minimized from hitting the home button in spite of them still being logged in), would it still turn to a solid D instead of a faded D because they're still logged onto KIK but their app window is minimized? Is faded D only used if the person has KIK but is logged out?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is an iPhone 6 old at this point? At what point should I get an upgrade? I know it's more on a phone to phone basis, but it certainly does seem that the older generation iPhones begin to degrade as soon as a new gen comes out.
