What should a Roman Catholic have in his or her house?
I'm converting to Roman Catholicism (I'm already Christian though) and I was wondering if there's something else I should keep in my house. I already have the following:
small crucifix (a standing one, not one that goes on the wall)
pictures of the Virgin Mary
green and brown Scapulars
two Bibles and a Catechism
a Rosary
a white mantilla (on the way from Amazon)
a crucifix necklace and Miraculous Medal
I also have prayer apps for iPhone. Thank you and God bless!
Added (1). Also, is there something specific that Catholics in Spain do (traditions/customs)? I'm part Spanish and I would like to honor my heritage.
A toilet, for sure, unless you live in West Virginia or Kentucky.
You obviously don't know the meaning of the the word "Christian", if you want to join the Catholic cult.
I'm an EX CATHOLIC.
A vibrator
Fridge, furnitire, shampoo, toothpaste, food, maybe a TV or computer for entertainment, books, clothes
A crucifix in almost every room. A household prayer next to the door you use to exit (front door or garage door) that contains a blessing for those leaving the house. A table to display your bible alongside a rosary and a candle and a small container of holy water. Above this altar perhaps a statue of the virgin Mary or a Madonna and child or an infant Jesus.
In you everyday dining area have a picture of the last super. Don't go overboard. If you don't know what that means see Woody Allen in Annie Hall converting neurotically to Catholicism. Look for the items I list in thrift shops first and replace them one at a time with budgeted money. Ask to visit the homes of Catholics you meet, the sponsors of the other new Catholics for example.
This first year after RCIA is a tough one. Best wishes to you.
Oh wow… Materialism.
None of the things you mentioned are required, though a crucifix can be found in most Catholic homes. After all, Catholicism is all about our Lord, Savior and founder, Jesus Christ.

Ok so this girl I haven't seen in a while texted me out of no where asking if I was going to an event and I responded telling her yeah probably she then responded back saying probably depending on blah blah but then it went to imessage when I texted her twice and no response I think she thinks I stalked her for her number even though I got my contacts transferred from my broken galaxy to my iPhone instead. What should I do?

- Kung Fu House Hack iOS - Any Kung Fu House Cheats? Welcome I wish to get Kung Fu House hack, I need it for my iPhone5 My phone is not jailbroken so it would be great if anyone was able to help with it
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
