What should i do if i feel discriminated by military police?
I have been questioned by military Police and it was never explained to me why they were asking me questions for. He asked if I'm Asian or Pacific, I said Asian. He then asked me if I'm Spanish ( I'm Filipino). He asked me my address, so I asked if it is mailing address or physical address (I don't accept mail at home, I was thinking maybe they will mail something for me) He sarcatically said:"Where do you put your head at night?" then he aske:" Are you high school graduate? I said college, then he said Bachelor? I said yes, Bachelor in Fine Arts Major in Painting. He should at least asked me what level of education have I completed but he assumed I'm just a high school graduate. Just because of the color of my skin and the way I talk? He also asked me if I have security clearance. I said excuse me, what is security clearance, He said:"if you don't know what security clearance is then you don't have one" He should have at least explain it to me. He never even explain to me what are those questions for. He is unprofessional! I was biting my tongue but what can I do. He can arrest me by questioning him or by arguing with him so I keep on looking at my iphone typed on my notes so i can document it later. I have never been treated like that in my whole 45 years in my life. He was rude, arrogant and every time I ask questions or asked him to explain something he showed me that he is irritated. Since that happened 2 days ago, I can't stop crying, I can't function at home and lost my appetite. I feel discriminated and harassed. I hope and pray I can overcome this and they don't do that to other people. It is unprofessional and very demeaning. I lived inside and out the bases (Navy, Air Force, Marine) since 1992 but I wasn't treated like this in the Army post by military police. We're no in the military but civilians but we're so proud and very thankful to our military for making our country free so in my own little way, my family and I always serve our community inside the post and serve even the cadets. I have been donating money to wounded warriors and to O'reilly's track chairs for our wounded military. I know that there are only few Mp's that have a bad attitude and unprofessional. What should I do? I need advice!
Call the police.
Tell your mommy.
Couple questions: Are you a legal resident of this country? You don't have a security clearance so I assume you aren't employed by the govt either civilian or military, correct? Why were you being interviewed by the military police? They don't have any jurisdiction interrogating civilians unless they have business on the military installation.
Get his name and rank, find out who he works for and go straight to the installation commander and complain. This, however, will probably go nowhere.
The best thing you can do is contact both your elected representative and senator and write them (DO NOT EMAIL THEM!) and explain the harassment and embarrassment you received and file a formal complaint. Demand a resolution.
And don't be upset by this. These guys are douche bags and are a bunch of idiots. I know. I work with them every day.
- Should the US Convert its military to a technology-driven guerilla model? For the price of a good aircraft carrier, you could buy a whole bunch of iPhones and coffee cans full of nails. We could contract with Russia when we needed an armored vehicle taken out, sort of like we do now for space payloads. Assad uses chems again? We blow his hands off next time he opens his mailbox. Total cost of the operation would depend on what an old iPhone goes for on eBay that day.
- Should I feel guilty for stealing my neighbours Wi-Fi? I know it's stupid And it's not really "stealing" as they just don't put a password. I connect my iphone/mac/ps3 to their Wi-Fi Is it weird I feel a bit bad? Tho I still do it heh but it's pretty much their fault right? I ain't complaining but should I feel bad
- My iphone was stolen. Find my iphone tracked it 15 miles from my house. Should I call police? It happened two weekends ago and I don't think the person ever turned it on until today but I got an email saying it was turned on, lost mode was activated so it locked itself, and it has tracked it to a city about 15 miles away from my house at an apartment complex. I don't think it would be necessary to go there and start knocking on doors. Should I contact police? Its an iphone 4.
- I spent 33 dollars on iphone 5 cases and I feel really guilty. Should I return a few? I don't know why. I just think it's a little too much on iphone cases. I bought 9 of them through ebay, but they're So cute! Should I return a few?
