What software and apps do storm (tornado) chasers use?
I was watching storm chasers on discovery where they chase tornados and was wondering what software they use on their laptops to track the storm in real time?
Also one of them was using his iPhone and he had a storm/weather live map on it (it was an app) does anyone know what the name of that was too?
Most use GRlevel products such as GRLevel 3. Some also use Baron mobile services or ThreatNet. Others use apps on their phones such as Radarscope or Pykl3. I use GRlevel 3 and Radarscope.
- Will updating my iPhone's software delete purchased apps and songs? I'm going to update my iPhone's 6.1.4 software to ios 7 when it is released in a few days. Some of my apps aren't available in the App Store anymore so will the update delete these apps off my phone?

- Song mixing and mastering (Software and tutorial) for beginner? I have recorded a song on Garageband on my iPhone using Peavey's Amp Kit Link and I can say that the recording quality is pretty decent. There's no background noise or anything of that sort. However, when I play all the tracks together they sound pretty aweful compared to commercial songs. Please point towards the right direction for me in terms of which mixing software should I be using, if there's any tutorial site for mixing the songs etc.
