Added (1). Sorry, accidentally submitted before finishing the question. I dropped my iphone 6 in the bathtub and I let it dry out but the screen is all messed up and the touch screen is not responding. I read that since iphones have water sensors, they'll know and the warranty won't work. So do I go straight to the apple store instead of to the verizon store to get it fixed? How much will it probably cost?
Call up an Apple store and ask then what it cost for an out of warranty phone replacement.
Make sure that you are sitting down for the answer, because when you hear that it will cost full retail to replace the phone that you were paying for with installments, without insurance, you might faint.
You can have them attempt to repair the phone, but if it does not work, you will have wasted month that could have been used on a replacement phone that would have had 12 months of warranty.
