What to do to get faster internet?

I like to play my playstion and get on the internet in my phone. I play games like minecraft and call of duty on my console. I also listen to music and watch youtube on my phone. So basically i lag alot on my playstion. And on my phone i can't use the youtube app because for some reason the video will take five minutes to load. Its like this will everyone in my house. My playstation will take days to downlaoad a game that took my buddies two hours to download. So should i buy a better router call my ISP or what please help. Also sorry about being at different places on the question. Please tell me what i can do to fix this. Also we have one pc one playstation three iphones and one ipad and laptop.

One thing you can do is contact your cable/internet provider, and talk to them about other plans with faster speeds. Another thing, if you suspect you have problems with your modem or router, or just suspect that they may be old or outdated, your internet service provider should give you a new modem.

So your internet lags that kinda suck but the reason why it happens it because there are maybe alot of devices hooked up to your Wi-Fi router so it lags. If you have xfinity it is kind of worse because they haven't fixed the problem yet. A solution would be to only play your playstation while no other devices are hooked up so it can run smoothly and fast with no lag.

The only way I know to really get faster internet is, to
call your internet provider and ask if they have a faster
internet plan.

You can't use all that at once if you don't want to lag. If you're family member is downloading something/ watching videos, it'll make you lag. You could probably upgrade your internet, but it's more expensive.
