What type of laptop would you recommend for me?

Okay so here it is. I'm a 16 year old girl and I want to buy a laptop. I already have an iPhone a laptop would just be for me to get on the internet on a bigger screen. I would be using it more for the purpose of internet than for schoolwork (at the moment). I want something lightweight and thin and I want it to look pretty nice. What kind should I get?

Macbook

MacBook Air 13 inch

MacBook Air or Samsung Series 9. Two of the thinnest laptops out there.

I'd go with an iPad Mini. I own a Samsung laptop, a MacBook Pro Retina 15", a Kindle Fire and an iPad Mini. I use the iPad for much more than I use my MacBook Pro for when I'm not using my MacBook for work. I own my own business and my Mac is my workhorse, but if I just want to surf or watch a movie alone, I'm on my iPad.

Really, go with an iPad Mini. Get a good cover for it as well.

I don't recommend MacBook.
I suggest a Samsung Series 9.It is very thin.

If all you want is internet access with a larger screen, seek out an iPad or a large Android tablet.

In fact, I recommend anything by Asus. Their Transformer line and the Galaxy Nexus (with Google) are both fantastic lines.

Covers all the bases for you:
-Internet
-Bigger screen (usually 10.1 inches)
-Lightweight
-Thin
-Various stylish looks

Most of the homework resources you'll need can be obtained on the tablet. Wikipedia and Google both have apps for Android. Plus you can wirelessly link them to a Wi-Fi printer if you need to print.

If you're talking about college schoolwork, then I do recommend a laptop instead of a tablet. However, you're 16. You have at least a year before you go off to college. Wait until you're closer to that schooling period and see what sales and new models are available at that time. Buying now means you'll be outdated then. Since it'll be for work and play, you'll want the best you can get for your buck.

If lightweight & thin then go for Lenovo T series

  • Would you recommend the iPhone 5? I've been considering buying the new iPhone 5. But is it worth it? Other than a bigger screen, what's the difference between the iPhone 4s and the iPhone 5?
  • Would you recommend the iOS 7 update for the iPhone 4? I really want to download the iOS 7 on my iPhone 4 but I've been getting a mix of answers so can everyone please list the pros and cons to it?
  • Would you recommend I get me an iPhone 5? I'm buying a new phone, and I don't know whether or not I should buy the iPhone 5? I don't have a Mac, only Windows 7. I do have iTunes set on it. But If I buy the iPhone, will my iPad Mini get boring? Should I rather take an Samsung Galaxy S4? Or should I wait for the 5S too come out? Also, I don't have a credit card too purchase of iTunes and App store, only Debit Card.
