What will happen if I update my iPhone 5 on another computer?
The original computer that my iPhone was synced to in no longer working. If anybody can answer my question that would be really great. I just need to know whether or not the update will delete all my things on my iPhone: music, apps, photos, etc.

It won't delete anything, because before the update it always create a back up. But the iPhone 5 have the ability to update over the air (OTA).So you really need no computer for the update, all you need is Wi-Fi.
As long as you back up your iPhone before you update it, you won't lose anything either way. If the computer that you update your iPhone on has iTunes and you DON'T sync it to that computer, it will update just fine. Just remember not to unplug your iphone until its completely done updating.
