What would be the easiest way to transfer data from iPhone to Google Nexus 5?

I just made the switch to LG Google Nexus 5 from iPhone 4s. Now being on completely different ecosystem I don't have any idea how to copy or transfer data from iPhone to Google nexus 5. I don't want to left behind all of my data specially my contact list and SMS messages.
Can anybody give me some advice on what should I do to migrate or transfer my data from iPhone to Google nexus android? Thanks in advance!
It's my first android phone. My iPhone is on iOS 7.0.6 and my Nexus 5 is running on KitKat powered android.
