What would happen if i deleted an apple id off my iphone?
I recently got a new iphone. My dad was experimenting with and added his email claiming it was an "official" apple id. But thats not possible since my dad uses blackberry. I added my id and all my data is on my id, not his. I'm wondering what would happen if I delete his id from my phone. Would all my data be deleted as well? Since his id was the fist one that was added on my phone.
You can't remove his, it will need his password to do so.
If your dad added his apple id to your iphone and you have data on it, then it officially belongs to him and if you delete it you will delete your data as well. It is possible for your dad to create a new apple id as if he bought a new apple device.
If you put your own apple id on it you'll have to start from scratch and put new data back on to it. May as well keep using his apple id if you don't want to lose your data, just make sure you have his password as well.
Actually any email address can be used as your Apple ID. I have a non Apple email address I have been using for years just fine. As long as your dad has not installed a lot of paid apps on the phone under his Apple ID, deleting his ID shouldn't be a problem.
I've deleted and added different ID's on my iPhone many times with no problems. The only issue comes if you later want purchased apps or email on the phone for the ID youve deleted but even then you can always re-add that ID to be able to get those things back if you needed to.
- What would happen to an old iphone when replaced? Ok so if I had a 4s, then decided to get a new phone, when I change sim cards, etc, what happens to the old 4s? Do I have to toss it out, or can I just use it as an ipod without call, text, and 4g?

Like to say that someone updated their instragtem app and the user did not like the new disign what should that person do. Like is there a way to get the old version back. Or that person should just deal with it.
- What would happen if I was to log out of my Apple ID account on my iPhone? I have 2 Apple ID accounts and I was wondering what would happen if I logged out, would the phone sort of like restart or would I have to delete everything from it just to log into the other account? ( sorry if it's a dumb question )
