What would Steve Jobs think of the slightly cheaper iPhone 5C?
My teacher told me that Steve Jobs would around in his grave if he knew that the company he built was selling a cheaper, less premium iPhone. What do you think?

Your TEACHER told you Jobs would 'around' in his grave because there's a new version of a phone he helped design? Doesn't sound like the greatest teacher…
Jobs built his empire and Apple on the concept of the best or nothing. Apple has always used the more advanced parts and PC's tend to be 5+ years behind. Just go to Best Buy to see this. The "Quad Core" processors came out in 2005, the Mac Air even is using i3's.
The iPhone in particular is a prestige/luxury product. Marketing 101 states you never cheapen a luxury brand. There's simply no way to recover your products value after you reduce it. That being said, Apple has so many zombie purchasers that it won't make much of a difference unless they do it continually and people stop buying the premium product and just wait till the mass/cheapo version comes out. Personally, I'm waiting for the 6 to upgrade. I don't need my iPhone 5 to have an ugly new color that I buy for $500. Mac coloring is so god awful I would pay extra not to have the color (Gold excluded).
- What was the last iPhone Steve jobs presented? Are the new iPhones any better than the last one he presented? Is there a noticeable difference in Apple after and before Steve Jobs?
- What's so great about Steve jobs? People say he changed the world he did nothing all he made was apple computer, iphone, iLad and ipod. It's dumb The person who made samsung didn't change the world why did he and why did steve made the worst products, I think the person who made lg and Samsung are way better
- Were Apple products as popular when Steve Jobs was alive? All of a sudden everyone had an iPhone and was waiting for the latest version of it to come out around the time of his death.
- Was iOS 7 showed to steve jobs but rejected? I see a high possibility. IOS 7 was the first OS to be released without Jobs working on it (Yes, they start making Operating Systems a year before releasing) and it is awfully ugly. I think Steve jobs wouldve rejected it for many reasons… Do you think/know he did
