What's A Good Twitter App For Iphone?

The Twitter app that I have been using isn't telling me who's following me, who I'm following, and it unfollows people sometimes. I'm willing to pay if I have to. But what I liked about the original Twitter app is how It has interactions and I could see who follows, retweets, favorites, and mentions me. If there's any apps anyone could name that has interactions it would help a lot Or any good apps you recommend.

But I'm not too familiar with this.

Tweetbot is the best - $2.99
Tweetcaster is 2nd best - Free
Echofon is 3rd - Free

I find the standard twitter app to satisfy my needs, however I have also tried TwitBird and it is basically like the twitter app except for a better UI and support for multi-accounts, the only down-side I can think of is that you can't time when you will post your tweet (some apps have an option on when to submit your tweet).

First place - Tweetbot $2.99
It has a LOT of features and theme is very nice, the only downside is when you view a trending topic, you can't tweet the trend. And when connected to wi-fi you tweets will be streamed

Second place - Tweetcaster (Pro Version $4.99)
It has a lot of features too, when view a tweet you can see "Replies" and "Who RT'd this" and trends are saved for a week, so you can tweet a lot more trends. It also show how many retweets a tweet got. And unlike tweetbot you can tweet the trending topics. Tweetcaster has the BEST search of any twitter app. BUT I don't recommend buy the pro version since this app look ugly, the only time you should buy the pro is if you have Android

Third place - Ubersocial (No ads version $4.99) or Echofon (Pro Version $4.99)
Ubersocial - it is almost as good as tweetcaster, but for some reason it's very laggy and I just don't use it

Echofon - I haven't use Echofon before, but I'm sure it is good, it also has streaming just like tweetbot

  • Why does my iphone keep closing my twitter app? When I'm on my iphone 4s and using the twitter app, after like a minute or any random time it will close it and go to my menu screen again. How can I fix it?
  • When you change your twitter name does it sign you out from the iPhone app? My mom took away my ipod and computer and I changed my twitter name during so she doesn't read every one of my tweets (she probably saw a lot of them already). I know that when you change your username if signs you out of the computer, but does it sign you out of the iPhone/iPod app too? (I can't even delete the twitter app or sign out on my ipod because I don't know where she put it)
  • What happens when I delete my twitter app from IPhone? I'm going through so much right now, so much where I want to kill myself. But instead of going to the extreme, I just want to take a break from everyone and take time to myself. I want to delete my twitter, instagram, and FB app from my phone. Will deleting these app off my phone be like deleting my account? I don't want to delete my account because hopefully I'll get back in there.
  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
