What's the latest os on iPhone 1?
Thinkig of buying iPhone 1 and was just wondering what latest os it could run on (16gb iPhone 1).
IOS 3.1.3 is the latest the original iPhone could run. This unfortunately means that a lot of the apps available on the App Store won't really work.
That hardware is too outdated.

You should buy the iPhone 3GS at minimum. Just saying.
The original iPhone runs up to 3.1.3. However most apps require iOS 4.3 to run.
The iPhone 3G runs up to 4.2.1.
- Would it be ok to upgrade my iphone 3gs ios to the latest os? Ios 6? Is it even possible? It won't slow it down would it? Would i lose any data if i restore? Like my music, notes, contacts, and stuff? It's ok if i don't get a jailbreak as long as i don't lose any of my data like music, photos, etc.
- What is the latest baseband for the iPhone 4? I just want to know what is the latest baseband for the iPhone 4 and does a general restore update the baseband? Is it also possible to downgrade the baseband for an iPhone 4 and if yes, what are the problems that come with it?
- Updating unlocked iPhone 4 to latest ios without losing carrier? I have an iPhone 4, not 4s, and the current ios is 4.0.2., and the current carrier is T-Mobile. I need too know if updating it will take out the carrier and/or brick my phone.
- Is there much difference between iphone 4 and latest iphone? I have Samsung galaxy ace which costs £22.99 a month this includes all round data i'm due upgrade and seen I can get iphone 4 for £22 per month this includes 500mb data. So need to know if iphone 4 is any good.
