Whatsapp messenger, not working?

I'm so confused. It was working fine and now for like 3 days the messenger sends the message but only has a single check mark. Never two. I don't think i'm able to send any outgoing msgs or receive any either.
i tried reinstalling. I tried rebooting. Its not working. Anyone else having issues?

Added (1). I wonder, if they are having issues with their phone or the app isn't working.

Single check means the message got sent and is waiting to be received on the whatsapp server.
you only get the 2nd check when the message is received by the recipient. The whatsapp on whoever you're sending the message to isn't working

  • Whatsapp in iPhone isn't working. Just shows connecting? I've even using Whatsapp on my iPhone 4S for months and today all of a sudden it is just not connecting. It's shows it's connecting but I'm unable to send or receive Msg because it ain't connecting. Usually it says connecting and connects in 3-4 seconds so I can MSG people but now it's not working. My internet is working well and I've also tried restarting my phone. Didn't help. Please someone help.

  • My Messenger isn't working on iphone, ipad or mac.why Yes I know I have way too many Apple products but that's not the point. I can log in to my messenger on any of them but I don't receive messages nor do they receive mine. I get the notifications of a new message on my phone but when I open the app, it doesn't appear. What can I do? I've tried re-downloading on my computer and deleting and re-downloading on my phone. Nothing worked.
  • My Kik Messenger isn't working? I have an iPhone 4S and about a week ago, the connection began to fail. I continue to receive incoming messages but I can't really look at them and if I reply it has the usual "." 3 dots that lets you know there's no connection reply back and then I get a "!" Exclamation point. At this point, I don't know what to do. Can anyone help?
