Whatsapp: Switching from iPhone to Android. Do I lose service?
I've purchased Whatsapp on iPhone. I've got a lifetime service now. If I switch to Android, will I have to purchase Whatsapp again from the Google Play store?

- Will I lose my Whatsapp chat history if I updated my iPhone OS version? I'm using an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4+ and I've been wanting to update to iOS 5+ for a long time, but I'm afraid of losing all my Whatsapp conversations once I update. Will I really lose all my chat history? And if so, is there anyway I can easily backup the chats?

Now I got a new iphone and I will move the simcard from the old iPhone to the new one, and I don't want to backup the whatsapp. What I need to know is that if I put the simcard again on the old phone will I find my what's app conversations and media or it will be lost?
- Switching Sim cards from Iphone 5 to Android phone? Probably a simple question, but I would like some input. I was wondering if I can take the Sim card from my iPhone 5 and use it on an Android or windows phone like the Galaxy 3 or Nokia Lumina? Is this possible and if it is how? Also I have Verizon and if I can switch to another device I will get a Verizon Phone. Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank you. I was wondering if a sim adapter would work?
- Switching phones on Verizon.iPhone and android? A person who is on my family plan is using their phone upgrade to get an iPhone 5. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus. When the new iPhone is activated on their number, can we then switch phones so I would have the iPhone and my original number, and they have the Nexus? Does the iPhone to android factor affect this switch.
