When I sync my iPhone to another computer, what happens?
I really want to update my Iphone on another computer, but i'm scared to.
When i go to update it, it says "There are purchased items on your iphone that have not been transfered. You should transfer these."
HOW DO I TRANSFER MY STUFF ON TO THIS COMPUTER?
When you plug it into another computer that doesn't have any other devices synced with it just click transfer purchases. This will bring everything on your iPhone to the itunes.
Note- If another device is already synced with the computer it will ask you if you want to erase and sync or just transfer purchases. DO NOT CLICK ERASE AND SYNC! This will take all existing data on the itunes and put it on your Iphone.
- What happens if you buy a iPhone of eBay and it happens to be stolen? I typed in a serial number of an iPhone into apple checker and it said the phone has not been activated? The phone is still sealed in its box is the phone ok to buy?
- What happens if I use another object to open the card slot for iPhone 5? You know that they have that small thingy you use to open the card slot for iPhone 5? What if I use other objects to do the job? I've used paperclip, and the needle of a compass to do the job several times to change cards. Might it be dangerous? The last thing I want to happen is to damage my iPhone's card slot and therefore making it unable to open.
- What happens if I trade iPhones 5 for another iphone 5 and keep our SIM cards? Does all my stuff move to the other iphone or does it stay with my old phone? Do apps, email, messages and etc move to the other phone or stay in the old one
- What happens if I sync my iPhone to a new computer? My iPhone is loaded with applications, music, messages, etc which was synced by one of my computers. That computer contains all the stuffs that I usually sync to update the contents on my phone. Just recently, I bought a new computer with fresh iTunes and I was just wondering what would happen if I sync my phone to the new computer? Is it possible to transfer all the apps and files on my iPhone to the new pc? Hope you could help.
