Where do you stand with Apple vs FBI regarding Iphone security?

I'm against it, only because another citizen could easily hack into my phone to retrieve info.

Apple are only resisting so they can show off how good their security is. "Buy an iPhone and you'll be so safe from hackers that not even the fbi can get in"
It's just marketing b.s. After they got ripped into over the terrible battery life from making the phone too thin, so now they need something else to boast about.

You are one of many that have been misled. The court order applies to one very specific phone. Also the only way the phone can be patched with the update that will turn off one setting that by default is off anyway, is for it to be physically connect to the computer that will push the patch. Nor is Apple required to give the patch to the FBI or even maintain the patch once they are done with it.

Personally, I think Apple isn't happy with the amount of money the FBI is willing to compensate Apple. Yes, Apple is getting paid to do this.

The Government's need to have a Blanket approach to looking into everyone's effects for "National Security" is a must for a despotic rule.
Forcing a wedge into the privacy without a probable cause is unconstitutional.
IF the search was limited to Court Ordered Search would be fine. That is already established.
The Government however want all the codes so it may have the ability to do a Search at anytime for any reason at whim.
